Meanwhile, in Washington, D.C. David's sister Julianne was running in her first marathon - the Marine Corps Marathon. We had fun tracking her online and were so proud that she completed her first distance run all while playing hostess to my little brother Michael and friend as they were in D.C. last weekend.
Speaking of Marines, many family and friends of whom I love very dearly, my fabulous hairdresser Dena's son is leaving today from Camp Lejeune to Afghanistan. Please pray for his safety as well as comfort for his family. I just can't even imagine.
So much to write about but let's get to the fun in pictures! On Sunday we headed over to the Gunter's for a Halloween party and hayride trick-or-treat. We had a blast! And David and I enjoyed not having to get on and off the hayride at each house to take the kiddos to each door - our time will come.
And since today is Friday {hooray!} and just for laughs...just reading through the ol' MS Living and today Martha Stewart is in Churchill, Manitoba to witness annual polar bear migration.
Happy Friday!

A heal stretch is always my go-to pose when it's time for a picture :-)
