the bridesmaid luncheon: one more day

My Bridesmaid Luncheon was hosted at the Mockingbird Cafe by some fabulous hostesses. This was where David and I went on our first date, but at that time the restaurant was located in Havana and now it's in Tallahassee. We had a wonderful time fellowshipping, eating, and discussing the big day! The guests also shared sweet memories and I am forever grateful for all their sincere words.

sharon lent one of her highwaymen paintings as part of the decor

the bride and hostesses -
sassy, aunt holly, sharon, and renn

I loved all the many details

the invitation had hydrangeas on it as well - my favorite! they know me so well

with my beautiful bridesmaids

the matrons of honor

mothers of the bride and groom

family

new family - david's aunt cookie flew in from california to be with us...it was so great to finally meet her!

bridesmaid gifts

handing out gifts left me a little teary eyed

the girls modeling their new governor's daughter necklaces suitably named "the grove"

hostess gifts

tassels by my friend kathryn glass

cheers to another wedding soiree!

my sweet new sisters

cousin lacy lauren drew the beautiful menu cover

we had some of my favorite mockingbird eats like sweet potato fries...

...and hummingbird cupcakes!

aunt holly lent her painted original roof tile from the old capitol {reception venue} to decorate for the luncheon that sassy had given her long ago. I've always seen it hanging in their house but never knew what it actually was. It meant so much to me that they brought all these special touches to share.

rian, thank you for all you did to help with all the wedding festivities - chris too!

these were the welcome bags we left at the hotel for our guests filled with florida treats and information

my favorite item included these sugar cookies we had made - they were so yummy! kate makes all kinds of cookies and treats in tallahassee so please give her a call.
