...The family comes to town!! David had a bachelor party he had to attend in Chicago last weekend so Mom and Dad graciously agreed to bring up the rest of our furniture and picked up Sister and Sally Kate on the way! We had the most wonderful time but missed David being there with us! It's no secret that SK loves her Uncle David and the entire weekend she talked about him - and talked to him on the phone, wanted to play pretend that I was David and she was Mary, and even made a video we e-mailed him saying that she missed him. She is at such a fun and imaginative age right now and I miss her terribly {her mommy too!}.
I couldn't resist picking up fresh flowers on the way home from dropping david off at the airport early friday morning...you can always count on a wholesale florist to be open early!

sk enjoyed visiting all her friends at chickadee and "working" with sister! she sported a new rhinestone headband from chickadee for the rest of the afternoon.
we treated dad to his first dreamland bbq experience for dinner on saturday night as a late birthday celebration - nothing beats white bread with bbq sauce and homemade banana pudding for dessert
late night shopping at wholefoods!
mom finally got to go to chez lulu...a favorite of the ruffles!
