Social Graces is a big fan of any soiree - any occasion, any number of people, any time. M & D were up for their monthly visit and at Lane's request mom re-made Grandmother Mary Elizabeth's birthday cake! So there was no doubt we were going to invite a few friends over for a cake party! You know, just a fun mid-Saturday afternoon treat.

The rest of our weekend was fabulous too! David and I went to Kool Beanz on Saturday night to celebrate our anniversary. I had a delicious chipotle hummus appetizer and then tortilla crusted grouper with a tomatillo sauce for dinner. So fresh and flavorful!

On Sunday we all joined the Micas for a delightful fish grill. Mom brought a homemade apple pie for dessert. Luckily those extra apples from Saturday's flower arrangement came in handy!

My weekends are most fun when I can celebrate life's simple pleasures with family and friends.
