Happy Birthday to my wonderful mother today!! She had all of her family home this past weekend to celebrate! We love being all together and savored every moment. On Saturday night we had a big dinner with grilled kabobs, fresh caprese salad, brown rice with mushrooms...and much, much more - all of our faves! We surprised mom with a chocolate cake from Betty Cakes and it was so moist and delicious. So glad we could spend the weekend together celebrating a woman who is a blessing to everyone. Love you!

mom was busy baking, as usual, this weekend and sent me home with the most delicious bread - lemon poppy seed zucchini bread from this month's southern living. just finished some for breakfast, thank you!
