'tis the season

It's no surprise, I love this time of year! Not only are there calendar holidays to celebrate, but there are always those special people who have birthdays, graduations, weddings, etc. amidst all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.

The next few weeks, and weeks well after that, will fall into this category as well. On Friday I received my first fabulous shower invitation - a shower hosted by dear friends and family in Ocala just before Christmas. You don't even understand how much I love seeing my name on the invitation!! Hosting holiday parties has become a tradition between Sister, Heather and me. When we were in high school we would host mother/daughter Christmas Teas and then as wedding belles came rolling along they transformed into Christmas Showers of sorts.

I have officially finished all Christmas decorating at my house and I'm enjoying the colorful ornaments and fresh smell of winter greenery.

Here's how I celebrated the first week of December...

on friday we toasted our friend ange on her graduation from fsu...

A few other mentionable highlights from the weekend {sorry no pictures!} were a Sisters Garage Sale, Christmas Parade with the Gunters, and St. Peter's Lessons and Carols service.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
