summertime

Today may be the official start of summer but I thought it was about time to finally post on my Memorial Day vacation! David finished his first year of law school mid-May and I am so, so proud of him. And only 2 more years to go...hope they fly by like the first! Come Memorial Day weekend we were off for some Florida sunshine. David's family rented a house on St. George Island and the whole family was there. We spent the rest of the week in Tallahassee and spent lots of time with dear friends. We ended our week of Florida vacation in Jacksonville for Nick and Amanda's fabulous wedding weekend - it and all its glory will have its own post soon to follow! But perhaps my favorite part of the week was getting to meet...

on sunday me, david, and fern headed to the coast. first stop was apalachicola for lunch.

these two are coming to visit me in birmingham in july! can't wait!
