6 weeks and counting...

Today is the day!

Invitations are being mailed out :)

me, erin and sister stuffed them all one night this past week and this was my cup for the evening :)

and to top off the week I received my fabulous invitation to my bachelorette weekend...

they've kept the destination a secret from me until just recently when someone accidentally spilled the beans!

I must say "I do" to a weekend in charleston, dahlin.

He is risen!

Yesterday was such a beautiful and glorious day to celebrate the Resurrection! David and I stayed in town and had a wonderful weekend celebrating with his family. I wish my parents could have been here too but we'll see them next weekend for my final bridal shower {so sad}!

birthday fun

We had another fun weekend celebrating a great birthday! Mom and Dad were in town for a weekend of shopping, wedding talk and Dad's birthday. Speaking of which, yesterday marked 2 months until the wedding!

On Sunday night we celebrated with a Mexican meal and yummy desserts. We had a ball as usual!

Saturday night I attended this swanky party benefiting the Tallahassee Ballet! I donated all the fabulous floral arrangements. I enjoyed dressing up in some of my vintage frocks and pretending I was Betty Draper (the nice side of her!) and friends.

they passed around candy cigarettes so we could get into character

springtime tallahassee

It was so nice to stay in town this past weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather and celebrations! We had a great cook-out for David's birthday, Springtime Tallahassee Downtown Get Down, and more.

I'm loving this time of year and thoroughly enjoying my warmer weather wardrobe!

happy birthday david!

happy birthday to you!

on friday morning I headed to valdosta, ga. for a hobby lobby run. we are getting one here in tallahassee but it's not open quite yet. to get to valdosta I drove through the quaint town of quitman...georgia's camellia city. I stopped and did a quick antique run...

...and found these camellias painted on their sidewalk trash receptacles...wouldn't it be fabulous if every city dressed up their sidewalks like this?!

downtown get down to celebrate springtime tallahassee

on saturday morning I tagged along to sally kate's mommy & me dance class where they play dress up and freeze dance

sally kate would have had her best listening ears on if it wasn't for baby annabella distracting her...

...but she did manage to do some ribbon twirling and practice her upcoming recital dance!
